Processed With VSCO With A4 Preset

Only recently I started a strict skin care routine. I have gone through a lot of trial and error with my morning skin routine due to my sensitive skin. I get nervous to try new products. I always have to do insane research about the products before I put it on my delicate skin.

I have, for now, made a perfected skin routine for my skin, which is a combination skin type and a sensitive one. One of my favorite brands right now is The Ordinary. They provide the most advanced, vegan skin care at incredible prices. I was truly shocked when I saw their pricing to be honest. I have been using their products for a few months now and I have no complaints.

1. Olay Facial Cleansing Brush

My first step is to use my Olay facial cleansing brush. It deeply cleans and helps to prep your skin for the rest of your routine. Using a cleansing brush has made the appearance of my skin more dewy and smooth. My next step is my DIY toner.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar & Rose Water

I make this toner at home. It is super simple to make, one half apple cider vinegar and the other half rose water. The apple cider vinegar helps to balance the ph levels in your skin while the rose water is soothing and calms redness in your skin as it has anti-inflammatory properties. Rose water is an amazing make-up setting spray as well.

3. The Ordinary – Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

“Hyaluronic Acid can attract upto 1,000 times its water weight. The molecular size of HA determines its depth of delivery in the skin. This system is supported with the addition of Vitamin B5 which also enhances surface hydration.” Hyaluronic Acid is something naturally found in the skin but does not function as hydration for the skin. This stuff is amazing!

4. L’Oreal – Hydra Genius Moisturizer Daily Liquid Care

This stuff is supper hydrating, lightweight, and soothing. It is a “boost” of water for your skin. It has this nice cool smooth feeling. This moisturizer also has aloe water which is amazing for all skin types. Hydra genius actually comes in a formula for dry skin and for combination skin.

There you have it. This is my every morning skin routine. It works great for the fall and winter time as the weather can get super dry. These products help to keep the skin hydrated all day long. The best part is, everything is SUPER affordable! They are all under $20, excluding the cleanser which is under $50. Amazing. I’ve linked some similar products below!
